JetBlue Airways have launched an innovative new package – a $US599 “all you can fly” ticket for a month in an attempt to jump-start summer and also to increase trial of the airline.  What the ticket or pass allows you to do is get unlimited economy/coach travel to any of their 56 destinations between Sept 8 – Oct 8.  There are no blackout dates and every/any seat is available with the pass.  People must book their flights at least 3 days prior to when they want to fly and can only change flights (with less than 3 days notice) by paying a $100 fee .

The pass includes all fees for domestic flights but if you want to fly to Puerto Rico or Internationally the taxes are additional.

The catch with the pass is if you book heaps of flights then don’t show up for them.  In the case of a no-show your pass is placed on hold, all reserved flights cancelled and no new flights can be booked till you pay a $100 no-show penalty.  This is to protect against people booking flights with no real intention or showing up or booking contingency flights just in case plans change.  So if you plan to use the pass you do still need to plan your travel well and if you are not going to make a flight, cancel it 3 days prior – in which case there’s no penalty at all.
