In the ever-increasing range of weird Wii peripherals comes “Baby and Me” by 505 Games. Its a baby doll that you can stick your Wii remote into, which allows the doll to react by giggling, gurgling or crying through the Wii remote speaker. The doll doesn’t just giggle & cry though, it comes with Balance Board support so you can rock the baby to sleep, burp the baby and teach it to walk. There are 10 “Baby Mode” games such as feed baby and send baby to sleep and 8 “Play Mode” games such as “rattle, catch, clap & balloons”.
Plus you can get a whole range of baby accessories, clothes, playrooms etc that any little girl will want (and most parent’s will dread).
Its onsale at the end of this month (next month in Australia) and is likely to be the “must have” Christmas gift for little girls. The standard model also comes with a holster which frankly is even more bizarre – it allows you to attach the Wii Remote to another doll, your dog or baby brother and pretend its the baby doll.
