Skin Cancer prevention campaign from 1981 which really became part of the Australian venacular.  It used a mascot – the seagull called Sid.  The campaign was extended in later years to include sunglasses & shade and became “Slip, Slop, Slap, Seek, Slide”

The campaign was also used in New Zealand where the mascot was a lobster. Some Canadian cities also adapted the campaign.

The campaign was resurrected recently but really misses the beat which made the original jingle one so catchy.
