The Cochin International Airport in India is growing medicinal plants instead of grass. They save money trimming the grass plus get a royalty of 10% of sale of the crop.

Rajiv Gandhi Airport in Hyderabad turns off the lights on the runway when visibility is clear. Delhi Airport has apparently partially introduced this system too.

Numerous airports of course have also taken to video conferencing over flying to meetings, and there have been a raft of the normal cost saving type measures.
