Hilton hotels seem committed to going that extra step in their CSR strategy. Not content with simply asking you to hang up your towels if you don’t want them washed that day, Hilton have been testing an Ozone Laundry System in Minneapolis.  They’ve found that its saved 50% of laundering casts by reducing the use of hot water and chemicals, yet they say the quality of washing is the same or even higher.

On Feb 1, the Hilton Chicago will be holding a “Green Day Event” where the Ozone Laundry system will be on display along with other technologies they are trialling for making hotels greener.
