jetBlue's Christmas Campaign
Nobody can say jetBlue lacks either a sense of humor or creativity. They recognise that many people don’t fly jetBlue and even though they’re expanding routes, passengers can’t always fly with them. So they designed a series of products to assist those poor people who have to fly with another airline – in typical jetBlue […]

Vosges Haut-Chocolat at Chicago O'Hare
Most airports have chocolate shops these days, its one of the fastest growing travel retail categories. Aside from Brussels and to some degree Zurich though, I haven’t found many airport chocolate shops which really impressed me – which stood out as something unique or special. Vosges Haut-Chocolat at O’Hare (T1 B Concourse) changed that, with […]
How does your airport smell?
Most airports smell fairly average. Nothing too bad but certainly nothing inviting or memorable. Despite how much airports are focussing on the traveller experience, few airports have even considered looking to scent. Only one I’m aware of doing it for revenue benefit (amongst other things of couse) is a little UK airport – East Midlands. […]

Versace CEO Giancarlo Di Risio was emphatic when he stated that Versace would not drop its prices due to the economic climate. Luxury hotel packages
It never ceases to surprise me how difficult hotels find it to create innovative packages for the luxury market. The Mandarin Orient have launched their Christmas package for $US130,000 which includes a limo service, diamond jewelry worth around US100,000, a diamond studded Christmas tree in the room, a gourmet dinner and the presidential suite.Predictably, whilst […]
Control someone else's Christmas lights
About 8 years ago, robotic webcams which internet users could control, started to become the rage. This has now been taken one step further in Canada with am Ottawa resident developing a software programme which allows anyone on the net to control and programme his Christmas Lights. To make it even more interesting, he’s networked […]
Luxury Christmas Hotel Package
Innovative hotel packages are always a challenge, luxury end ones even more so. The Buckingham Hotel have developed a “Christmas Key to the City” package which pretty much takes the cake in terms of a luxury Christmas package – and all for a price tag of $US150,000. The package includes: A gold and diamond Christmas […]
